Wednesday, June 23, 2010 |
Casa Brasil kicked off on June 15 at the Sandton Convention centre in Johannesburg. The exhibition offered a unique insight into the regions of Brazil, its arts and crafts, cuisine and the technological offering as the country prepares to host the next World Cup. On June 29, Casa Brasil, in partnership with the Gauteng Department of Sport, Recreation, Arts and Culture as well as Conquest for Life, have invited the youth that form part of the Gauteng Recreation Programme and Conquest for Life to the event. They will be given a guided tour of the regions, sample traditional Brazilian cuisine and be given free rein in the technology and gaming room. The event will be held at the Sandton Convention Centre in Maude Street in Sandton at 11h00 on June 29, in the Ballroom, Level 2.
